A new version of QB is available. QB 0.2.0 is available for Windows 64-bit and Linux 64-bit (GLIBC 2.31) and comes with new cubes: 4x4x4 and 5x5x5 blocks. Many bugs have been fixed and interface has been updated.

You can turn around the cube, spin sections of the cube with the mouse or keyboard (U, D, F, B, R, L…), scramble / shuffle the cube, use predefined algorithms, save and reload cube state.

QB requires no installation. Just unzip the archive and launch the QB executable.

QB 0.2.0 is based on the latest GeeXLab 0.49.3.

Another new micro video game made with GeeXLab has been released. After Snake, Imbricker, TirOBulles and Flipper, here is QB (“cube”), a simulator of the popular Rubik’s Cube game.

After the Snake, it’s time to update the Imbricker tiny game (more or less 20 MB depending on the platform!). This new version comes with the support of Linux 64-bit and Raspberry Pi OS. This update is based on GeeXLab 0.35.x.

Imbricker is a standalone and portable video game. No installation is required. Just unzip the zip archive where you want and play the game.

Imbricker is a clone of the classic and very popular Tetris game.

The rule goal of the game:

In Tetris, players must complete lines by moving differently shaped pieces (tetrominoes), which descend onto the playing field. The completed lines disappear and grant the player points, and the player can proceed to fill the vacated spaces. The game ends when the playing field is filled. The longer the player can delay this inevitable outcome, the higher their score will be.

Unzip the Imbricker archive file where you want and launch Imbricker.exe. That’s all.

Snake is a clone of the classic Snake game. The goal of the game is simple: the player controls a snake whose sole purpose is to eat food appearing at random places on the map. The more it eats food, the longer it becomes. The snake dies if it runs into the borders of the map, obstacles or itself.

The Snake is the first game made with GeeXLab and is coded in Lua. It’s an alpha version that’s why it’s currently available for Windows 64-bit only. Versions for other platforms will be released later.

The Snake has two modes:
– classic hunting: 10 maps with 10 food per map.
– marathon hunting: 1 map with lot of food…
