Yeah,
on my ASUS ROG GL502VM with G-Sync the Intel GPU is invisible for device manager, hardware manager and BIOS.

So i expect an Optimus rig when i see an iGPU.

Where do you see Optimus ? On the GPU Shark screenshot where we see RTX 2070 + Intel UHD 630 ?
If I’m not wrong, I forced in NV control panel the prefered graphics accelerator to RTX 2070.
And in Explorer context menu, there was the option to start a 3D app with a prticular GPU. So Optimus?

These Asus gaming notebooks are extremely rugged. I still use a G74VW since 7 years and it still keeps ticking. You can run the latest tiles on it like Overwatch, Farcry5 or Apex even tho not with full settings. This GX502GW is still a bit pricey 2300 EUR but you set a watcher on it and it will be 1300 before you would know it.
ATM I don’t even see a point of buying Core i9 gaming laptop, for what? Mine can run everything nicely only issue with it that it’s heavy, even the PSU is like a brick and it pushes heat like a dragon but besides that 2 it’s tip top.

The notebook has a G-Sync sticker, but GPU Caps Viewer exposes Optimus.
Both technologies are mutually exclusive according to:
