SAPPHIRE has released a Radeon R9 290X with a whopping graphics memory size: the card comes with non less than 8GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 5600MHz effective speed. Such a large framebuffer is useful for UHD/4K resolutions. The GPU core is clocked at 1060MHz and the PCB requires two 8-pin power connectors. FurMark Running on a Sapphire Radeon HD 4850 X2 Without Too Much Noise!

The guys at Overclockers Online have tested Sapphire’s Radeon HD 4850 X2 and they have used FurMark to push graphics card temperature to the max.
