AMD has released a new version of GPU ShaderAnalyzer. This version 1.56 supports the latest Catalyst drivers (10.12) and adds Radeon HD 6870 and Radeon HD 6970 to the list of supported graphics cards.

New features:

  • Support for Catalyst™ driver 10.10-10.12
  • Support for ATI Radeon™ HD 6870 and HD 6970 graphics cards
  • Report compilation time from HLSL shaders to D3D assembly

AMD GPU ShaderAnalyzer is a tool for profiling real time Direct3D (D3D9, D3D10 and D3D11) and OpenGL shaders under Windows XP/Vista/Seven. GPU ShaderAnalyzer is intended for analyzing the performance of ATI Radeon graphics cards. It outputs the assembly code for several architectures (HD 6000, HD 5000, HD 4000, HD 3000 and HD 2000) and displays shader statistics related to the GPU architecture.
