I am researching optimal hardware setup for my cuda application. Ideally 4 to 6 Nvidia 4060 GPUs per machine.

Does anyone have some advice to share on how to optimize cost, calculate power requirements or any pitfalls to watch for?

My code does not place huge load on PCIe bus. Is using PCIe riser cards a good idea?

How to calculate PSU power i would need?

Because I am adding extra GPUs, can i just look at value of "+12V PSU output specification" that fits combined power of GPUs?

Nvidia specs say 4060 nominal power is 115W, should i account for peak power?

Should i account for PSU conversion efficiency based losses?

Does it make sense to use larger PSU for multiple motherboards?

Any other tricks bitcoin miners use that could also work for my project?
