Is Furmark for Linux not portable or able to run from a USB stick?

I have a USB thumb drive filled with various utilities I use for my work, including Furmark.
I downloaded the 2.3.0.0 version today and unzipped it unto my USB key. The GUI runs but when I click benchmark or run it doesn't. Nothing happens. I tried running it from the terminal to see the output and apparently it's trying to find the "Stress" tool, which I have installed on my system already but that's a red herring. Here's the output:

sh: 1: /media/gnarlin/KINGSTON/Tools/Stress: not found

However if I extract the same zip file into my user Download folder and run Furmark from there it works fine. Can this please be fixed? It would be so convenient to be able to run Furmark directly off the USB key without having to copy it every time I need to run it on a different machine.

So, did you test it? Surely this should be an easy fix, right? Some path issue or something like that?
